NORTH COAST STRINGS ORCHESTRA

Rehearsals: Tuesdays, 7:00pm – 9:00pm (includes a short break)

This group is for players of violin, viola, cello, or bass who are comfortable with their instrument after having played for several years either recently or in the past, and who have solid music reading and rhythmic skills. Repertoire selections are learned in their original unarranged form (i.e. not simplified). Professional musicians serve as section coaches at each rehearsal and provide support through providing technique tips as well as suggesting fingerings and bowings. The North Coast Strings Orchestra performs a concert at the end of the session.
