Event Details

Make Music Day is a free celebration of music around the world on June 21st. Launched in 1982 in France as the Fête de la Musique, it is now held on the same day in more than 1,000 cities in 120 countries.

The Museum of Making Music joins the celebration with free hands-on music-making, performances, and more!

    Enjoy live music throughout the day.
  • Live Music-Making Opportunities
    Bring an instrument and jam on the lawn or play one of our many interactive instruments!
  • Performance opportunities between scheduled performances and throughout the museum.

2:00 - 3:00:     Mission Vista High School Steel Drum Ensemble (in front of the building)
