  • Description

Julia Kamanda is a singer/songwriter and teaching artist who uses music as a vessel for self-expression and group empowerment. Her focus is on helping others tap into their own innate creative energy in order to connect more deeply with themselves and others.

She has performed professionally since the age of nine, touring around the world with her father, virtuoso guitarist Stanley Jordan. Currently, in collaboration with sheet music giant Hal Leonard Corporation, Julia is developing Musical Tales for Modern Minds, a series of musical storybooks that introduce music concepts to children through globally-inspired stories and songs.

She offers creative music lessons and classes to children at her private teaching studio, J3 Music Studios and writes articles about music and motherhood on her blog, www.TheMusicMommy.com.
